The district is over 80 square miles and includes the Village of North Utica, Waltham Township, Utica Township and a portion of Deer Park, Ophir and Dimmick Townships. Within the district is Starved Rock State Park, Grand Bear Lodge, two major interstates, and the Illinois River.
Our Department provides Fire Suppression, ALS Emergency Medical Services, Hazardous Material Response, Search and Rescue, Water and Ice Rescue, Vehicle Extrication, and Rope Rescue Services. The Utica Fire Protection District is a member of MABAS Division 25.
In addition to calls for service, the Utica Community Fire Protection District provides additional services to the community such as Fire Prevention and Safety Programs, New Construction Plan Reviews, Public Education Programs, C.P.R. Classes, School Visits and Station Tours.
